Dr. Quincy R. McGhee

Today, with 20 years of ministry, Quincy can never forget his journey and humble beginnings. Quincy was raised up in a small, northern Mississippi town, called Tunica, which was most notably known during his childhood as the poorest county in the continental United States. Rev. Jesse Jackson coined the phrase of Tunica as, "America's Ethiopia." After High-school, he served in the United States Army during the first Middle Eastern War, Desert Storm. After serving in the Armed Forces he made Fort Wayne his home, where he attended ITT Tech and worked as a Systems Tester for ITT Aerospace Division. While employed at ITT, Quincy heard the call to ministry and began the path by receiving a Diploma in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and earning credits at Taylor University. Soon after, he was employed with Fort Wayne Area Youth for Christ.

During Quincy's years of serving in the para-church ministry of Youth for Christ, he also served in the local church as Education Director at Greater Progressive Baptist Church. He was a founding member and Associate Pastor of New Covenant Worship Center, under the leadership of Dr. Luther Whitfield. After this transition, Quincy founded LifeWay Bible Fellowship from a Wednesday Night Bible Study, with three families, and now has grown to serve and minister to more than a 100 members, spanning across the Greater Fort Wayne Community.  LifeWay is a church dedicated to embracing the abundant life provided through Jesus Christ, living a Christ-centered life with the help of God, and sharing their lives and faith with those they encounter. As the primary teaching pastor, Quincy has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture with humor, relevancy and life application. 

Pastor Quincy is bi-vocational, also serving as the Director of the Rising Stars program at Associated Churches of Fort Wayne.  In this role he serves as a liaison between local schools an churches to build partnerships and school adoption, providing tangible needs, mentoring and tutoring.  He is also the Director of the Impact Mentoring Initiative that supports schools by providing Adult Mentor's to facilitate Character Education with small groups of students for 6-8 weeks. With a passion for reaching his community, Quincy completed his Bachelor of Science in Social Work. He has a heart to build strategic partnerships in an effort to establishing youth development programming, financial literacy, parenting enhancement, and most importantly disciples that make disciples to equip leaders for the work of the ministry. Pastor Quincy has also served on several non-profit boards and is currently studying at Indiana Wesleyan to complete a Masters in Public Administration, with concentration in Non-profit Leadership, by the end of 2018.

Pastor Quincy and his lovely wife Sharon of 32 years, have three kids and reside in Fort Wayne, IN where they are called to minister and make a difference, with the help of God.
